Bryndan Associates, Inc. is an interdisciplinary consulting and engineering firm specializing in providing consulting services to the electric power industry. Bryndan was established and incorporated in 1998 to address the complex regulatory, economic and engineering issues affecting the power industry. Bryndan’s primary focus since its inception has been helping generation and transmission developers, and other new entrants “walk” the path from project conceptualization to project energization. Bryndan’s transmission grid and interconnection experience dates back to the very inception of deregulation (1978 Public Utilities Regulatory Policy Act), and continues to the present. Functional corporate expertise covers broad areas of support, including engineering and design, regulatory licensing and permitting, economic analysis, wholesale power market analysis, retail energy markets, transmission expansion, generation development, traditional utility planning, and grid/host interconnections.
